A wonderful family I worked with a few years ago gave me these super-cool egg molds. What a great way to make breakfast or a bento box lunch more fun! Check out Nami at Just One Cookbook and her post How To Make Bento for a great tutorial on how to put together nutritious, delicious, varied, interesting and beautiful bento lunches and check out this video by Simone Smith to see how to make adorable hard boiled eggs with egg molds.
If your child isn’t ready to eat hard-boiled eggs, you can explore them with a deconstruct activity. Try some of the ideas from my past post Take Apart A Hard Boiled Egg.
Enjoy! Happy food play!
I love the bunny. I don’t think we’d have use for them specifically fore eggs, but I can see these working very nicely for play doh and clay 🙂

Yeah, they’re really neat! I didn’t know either until a family gave them to me 🙂 There are a bunch of other fun shapes out there, too. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve seen molds for different vegetables too! They work great to help adults recognize what they are eating when they are limited to a purée diet.
