Make a Funny Face

Make a funny face out of whatever you have in the kitchen. Put out foods of different shapes and colors and make eyes, mouths, noses, eyebrows, hair. Make your faces happy, sad, surprised, angry.

Add A Song:

Sing a song about faces or body parts like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” or make up a song with words about what you are doing.

Language and Senses:

Talk about the different foods. How do they look, feel, smell, taste? What sound do they make if you bite them? Can you hear them crunch? Mix them up and make new faces or try eating the ears, or the mouth.
